Enjoy Kyoto's lush greenery in early summer, Nanzen-ji Temple and the Lake Biwa aqueduct
Kyoto is covered with full of greenery in early summer.
Taking a walk to enjoy fresh green leaves would be one of the best ways to start your day. The area around Nanzen-ji Temple is a great place to walk around.
The aqueduct which was build in the end of the 19th century to draw water from Lake Biwa to the Kyoto city, naturally blends into the lush green Higashiyama landscape.
